This week we brought music lessons to children in a local community center in the villages and countryside of Chiangmai, Thailand called the Happy Heart Home. At the end of the week, every child got to take a ukulele home! We also biked around in the countryside of Thailand with all of the children.
Once again, thank you so much for your continued support of our music school. You are truly part of the positive impact we're making both in New York City and around the world. My hope is that we’ll soon be able to inspire our students, teachers, parents, and staff to join in and physically go to different parts of the world to serve through music.
The goal is for our students here in Brooklyn to be just as comfortable playing at Carnegie Hall as they are teaching music to children in the most broken of places in the world—like the streets and orphanages of Southeast Asia. Music transcends borders, and we want to make an impact on the world.
