Frequently Asked Questions
How much do lessons cost?
We have three different price options for our lessons.
Our 30 minute lessons cost $199 per month.
Our 45 minute lessons cost $279 per month.
Our 60 minute lessons cost $369 per month.
We recommend our 30-minute classes for students ages 5 to 7.
We recommend our 45-minute classes for students ages 8 to 10.
We recommend our 60-minute classes for students ages 11 and above.
How do we charge you?
We only accept credit and debit cards and we will charge your credit or debit card on the 1st of every month.
What happens if you miss a class?
If you have an excused absence, you can fill out an absent form and sign up for a group makeup class on your opus1 account. You can only make up your class if its excused absence. Note that you'll only be able to sign up for a makeup class if you let us know of your absence 48 hours before the lesson or else the class will be marked as unexcused with the exception of sickness or emergencies.
Are you guys closed during the summer?
We're not closed during the summer! Our studio is open all year round.
What happens to my lessons if I go away during the summer?
Since our instructors have many students, lessons are first come first serve, so if you withdraw for the summer, we cannot guarantee that we have a spot for you in the Fall as we will open the spot to new students and the waiting list.
There are two options to keep your spot during the summer if you decide to go away.
1. Take advantage of our summer make up lessons. We realize that some of you will go on vacation for a portion of the summer. By signing up for the summer make ups, you can make up 4 of your lessons and keep the same teacher and spot for the fall. For your convenience, we will double the amount of make-up classes on the summer schedule.
2. Sub lease your spot to a family member or friend You can send a family member or friend in your place for the dates you will miss. Just let the office know who is coming in your place and when. Make sure that they reimburse you directly for the lessons.
What happens if I want to cancel my lessons?
You must let us know by the 15th of the month prior in order to keep from being charged for the next month.
Why do I get charged for the month if one of the days you are closed?
We hold 48 lessons per year which mean you get four lessons per month even if we close for a holiday.
